The short version
I'm Tony, I'm based in Hanham, and Ynot Renovate is me: one electrician, one van you may have seen around east Bristol, and one phone number that reaches me rather than a call centre. A lot of my work is for people I've worked for before, and for their friends and neighbours, which is the best test of a tradesman I know. This page sets out who I am and how to check it, so you don't have to take my word for any of it.

Qualifications and registration
What these mean in practice: NICEIC registration lets me certify notifiable work and notify Building Control myself, so you get your compliance certificate without paying for a separate Building Control application. The inspection and testing qualification is what an EICR rests on, and the PAT qualification covers appliance testing for landlords and small businesses.

The NICEIC Platinum Promise
Because I'm NICEIC-registered, notifiable work I carry out is covered by the NICEIC's Platinum Promise. If an NICEIC-registered contractor's work needs putting right and that contractor is no longer registered or has stopped trading, the Platinum Promise can step in. It applies where the contractor was registered with NICEIC for that type of work when the job was completed, and the work was completed within the last six years.
Which? Trusted Trader
Which? assesses a business before endorsing it as a Trusted Trader, and every customer review on my Which? profile is moderated to confirm it came from a real customer. That's the place to look if you want to know what working with me is like.
How quoting works
Call, email or use the form, whichever suits you. Photos help: a picture of your fuse board answers half my questions before I ask them, and for a lot of jobs photos are enough for a written price. Where a job needs eyes on it, I'll come round, look, and give you advice and a price before anything is booked. Either way the price is in writing, and nothing extra goes ahead without your say-so.
